pleated skirts

Pleated skirts are everywherebut not in a bad, make-it-stop way. On the contrary, they're a basic staple that can be dressed up, dressed down, and are super season-friendly. With endless styling options, you can pair a pleated skirt from sandals to booties. These versatile skirts can also spruce up a day-time look for work, (as I have at Who What Wear check it !) and even be worn after-hours. If you're heading for drinks or a party straight from work/school, sometimes the last thing you want is to wear heels. Hence, the maxi-pleated skirt is there to hide those flats, dear readers.  #sneaky #voila
Happy pleating ! xo

Stop for a second and marvel at these raw footage-like photos for Rag & Bone--Pure beauty. And yes, her husband captured some of these in New Zealand.

City Sleek

super-duper nerd in L.A. (Me!) vs. supermodel, Miranda Kerr in NYC

And... the Us Weekly pick for "Who Wore it Best" goes to Miranda Kerr. None the less, The Social Shopper: City Sleek post on Vogue still made me smile. Why? because the minimal and timeless look I donned for a festive outing last night emulated Miranda Kerr's look.
I can't give myself much credit, because these are all basic staples in every wardrobewhite or off-white button-down blouse, faux leather pants, & black stiletto heelsbut the timing to spot the Vogue Guide post was cool.
Do excuse the blurry Blackberry mobile photo. xo

Glamorous gowns were everywhere at fashion's version of the Oscars, the Met Gala. I can't pick my favorite--although, Giselle in a red Alexander McQueen is rather perfect.
