David Beckham underwear range for H&M

photos courtesy of H&M photographed by Alasdair McClellan, via  fashion.telegraph

And there Becks is in all his shirtless-tattooed-chiseled-underwear-clad glory, wearing his own designed Bodywear collection for H&M. I gotta hand it to you H&M, your collaborations and marketing tactics are on point. I'm no chap, but this makes me want to go purchase whatever he is modeling. Like, right nowso a round of applause to them.

David Beckham says, "Collectively with my design team we spent time working on the feel, fit and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but one which I would be proud to put my name to."
Translation: blah, blah, blah. I'm perfect, and you're totally buying all this, because I'm Becks.

If your self-esteem is about to disintegrate, fret not boys, because the first installment will be available at H&M on February 2.

Until then, pip pip cheerio old chaps!

City Sleek

super-duper nerd in L.A. (Me!) vs. supermodel, Miranda Kerr in NYC

And... the Us Weekly pick for "Who Wore it Best" goes to Miranda Kerr. None the less, The Social Shopper: City Sleek post on Vogue still made me smile. Why? because the minimal and timeless look I donned for a festive outing last night emulated Miranda Kerr's look.
I can't give myself much credit, because these are all basic staples in every wardrobewhite or off-white button-down blouse, faux leather pants, & black stiletto heelsbut the timing to spot the Vogue Guide post was cool.
Do excuse the blurry Blackberry mobile photo. xo

While the anticipation for the Lanvin collaboration with H&M is at its peak for a lot of people, after viewing the photos from the fashion show, I'm "on to the next one" a la Jay Z's song. Although a lot of dresses would be great for New Year's Eve parties & some cocktail parties, it's a little flamboyant for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I love everything from the presentation, the creative ads, to a lot of the looks, but I don't see myself actually wearing it (excluding the dresses I posted on top, which I love). I like to be sincere when I post photos on my blog, and not base it primarily on the hype. Will any of you guys be visiting H&M stores up & early tomorrow? Let me know how that goes !

"I want Lanvin, not diamonds !"

not too shabby, ay?
