my first and last "controversial" post

disclaimer: making fun of social-networking, you, and I (but mostly you).

I need to vent. I never (everrrrr !) bring up politics or religion--especially on social networking platforms (Although verses/quotes--from a spiritual or holy source-- which are intended for personal and insightful purposes, are reasonable, as some of my very good friends use). On the contrary, I like to update my statuses to bring consensus with viewers, including quotes and fashion updates fluttered with inspiration. And while I was utterly baffled by the fussy new Facebook, I must say, the convenient option to 'unsubscribe' to that one person who uses big words he/she just Googled on their iPhone --to argue just for the sake of arguing-- makes me content.

Also, let me be the first to admit that I'm sure I've come off just as annoying on Facebook, myself. Raise your hand if you've ever thought: "Oh God, another Audrey Hepburn photo..." or "so...she updates food photos via mobile, but does she actually eat?" or "bitch, you're not Carrie Bradshaw, you're just a fashion blogger and an intern"

a) If you know me personally, you know that I'm an Audrey Hepburn enthusiast, and my taste for her films, books, fashion (hey, Givenchy!) is insatiable.
b) Fact: I can out-do you in eating. I eat what I want, when I want. And yes, I eat them #nomnomnom
c) yes, I like #hashtags, and I blame Twitter
d) You're right, I'm nowhere near a "Carrie Bradshaw". And, I prefer L.A. + Who What Wear over sex columns.

If you rolled your eyes, good. If you smiled, great. And if you "unsubscribed" me on Facebook, then toodaalloooooo (click) xo

Who What Wear*

Check out the impeccably stylish -- and newly decorated -- Who What Wear offices located on bustling Whilshire blvd.

As an intern at Who What Wear, I encourage my readers to view the re-launched website (which includes Rachel Zoe's new advice series, Ask a Stylist) and Twitter & FB updates (I'll be updating these along with other interns) ! Enjoy xo

California Dreamin'

Yesterday was spent taking advantage of the LA weather.  Although a few orders of ice blendeds at Coffee Bean turned to more than 30 minutes of waiting, (thanks to a big group of teens who kept changing their order) the rest of the day was great :
Browsed shops at the Prominade; The Pier
watched the sunset
followed by dinner and oversized margaritas*

No Rain, No Gain

Spent the beginning of a very rainy day at a bridal shower at The Tea Room in Montrose;
Which meant overdosing on tea & tables filled with adorable finger sandwhiches & dessert platters.
Now off to do some much needed reading & studying. Stay dry*

Mundane Monday

Just woke up from a nap, & I feel pretty dazed after a day of staying home & studying. I'm currently rejuvinating with music & tea.

It's Raining, It's Pouring...

I've disliked the rain since my accident last month, which was conveniantly in the midst of a rainy finals week. My campus gets flooded with puddles on wet days & I end up with soggy wet feet. Finally home after the first day in the new semester, I blow-dryed my toes, had soup, followed by some freshly baked cake.

I thought I'd post this picture from Prada's lookbook for SS '10, which is currently my desktop background & because after the rain comes a rainbow?..or so it goes.
